On The Dock

The food was delicious, and it came out of the kitchen quickly. I ordered a whiskey sour and it was well made. The restaurant is right on the water, we had a table with a beautiful view of the water. Our server was very helpful and gladly made some adjustments to the items that we ordered as requested. This is a great place and I do recommend giving it a try. To us it was a wonderful discovery.

The restaurant has a dog-friendly patio offering breathtaking views of Rustico Harbour. Staff is friendly and efficient. Foot is excellent. We had a dozen scrumptious local oysters, followed by scallops and haddock burgers.

Started my day off with lobster rolls from a couple popular places in Victoria PEI and ended the day WITH THE BEST LOBSTER ROLL BY A MILE at On The Dock Eatery. In house kettle chip nachos were great and the carrot cake was sublime! Our waitress Sam was the cherry on the top!

As a group of nine I was pleasantly surprised about how quick and efficient the service was. We had a great time on the dock even with the threat of rain. Appetizers and drinks were delicious. The fish tacos, fish and chips or lobster roll are all great options. Would definitely recommend.

Our second attempt at coming here, and glad we came back and I want to return for the crab dip that looked amazing! The place is popular for good reasons. Excellent location adds to the atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. Oysters were delicious, lobster roll was amazing, the bread roll was buttery, fries cooked to perfection. We were too hungry to wait an hour on the first attempt, the second attempt we didn’t have a wait at all. There is a cute souvenir shop nearby and great on-the-water picture opportunities if you decide to wait.

This is the best choice on the North shore for elevated casual dining and drinks - and has, without question the best waterfront patio with the most stunning views - especially at sunset. You are truly seated directly ‘on the dock’. The food and service are consistently excellent - and priced very reasonably. This is a family run business with hands on owners who obviously care about delivering a quality experience. If there is a wait, it’s absolutely worth it - and they have a very efficient text-based seating system that’ll let you enjoy beautiful Rustico Habour (with nearby beach and lighthouse) while they get your table ready. Do not miss this place on your PEI vacation!

All I can say is WOW. What a fantastic menu. The fish and chips were the best I had on the island (I ate at about 4 different places). My dad ordered the lobster roll and when I gave him a piece of my fish he was gutted he didn’t order that! My sister got the gnocchi and said she was in absolute shock over how delicious it was (of course I had to help her out with that). We were a group of 7 so we had a beautiful spot overlooking the water. They don’t take reservations so when we arrived we put our name on the list and explored North Rustico until we got the text our table was ready which was beautiful and fun to explore. Overall what a fantastic spot. Would highly highly recommend eating here! The service was amazing too

I was so pleasantly surprised by this spot! We happened across it and stopped in. The service was lovely, and I had an excellent smash burger (recommended by our server). The view was beautiful and the atmosphere was lovely. I will 100% be back. I really anticipated it being average pub fare but it was really dead on.
